Silver Lake Mears MI USA 08-01-05 We had a tenative race day that didn't work out Sunday, so I called Roger and we headed for Michigan's little sandbox Monday afternoon. All pictures are of Roger, when I not only remembered to TAKE the camera, but also to USE it!
The crowd was much bigger than we expected, maybe 3/5th full. The beach was real wet, and some puddles in the cat and mouse area, but not in a bad way. In fact, the most fun we had was running around the puddles in the wet sand on the beach. It was perfect traction and you could see everybody around you!
We saw a stock Pilot, who's owner hadn't heard of the Pilot sites on the web. There was also a stretched 350 frame with an A arm front end and a V4 Honda in it that sat on the trailer til we were headed home. As we were pulling out, I saw it idling toward the entrance gate.
