	Steve works on his brother for 2 laps to no avail, so when he tries the outside of 8 on Mike, Jeff is there to fill the inside and bangs his way by Steve. pic: Steve goes high, then turns under the sliding wide Mike, while Jeff dives under them both.

	This action has brought the field back to the leaders, and when Steve B. overcooks it out of turn 8, Dave S. is there to take 3rd. Norman gets a run on Steve down the back straight. Theres contact going into 3 and Norman goes for quite a ride. He's Ok, but done in the race. pic: Here's the start of Norman's wild ride.
	At the red flag, the running order is Jeff, Mike, Dave S., Steve H., Steve B., Jim, Bill, Roger, and Dave C. On a red flag at Bob's, they place you on the track where a video of the race shows you at the time of the flag coming out, so we are scattered all over the track. A few of the racers couldn't see the flagman at the restart, and didn't start til seeing the others go. Note to self: position so you can see the flag man! Roger hasn't had the kind of year he wanted, but he drove very well. He, Jim, and Bill are having a good ole race, trying each other at every corner! I kinda hated to come barging through there, but at the time it seemed like the thing to do! I'm able to get past Roger, Jim, and Bill, to 6th, but Steve B. is too far out there. pic: When I passed Bill, Jim thought about coming along on the bottom, but Bill (in the middle) wasn't having any of it.
	At the front of the field, Jeff continues to lead comfortably, With Dave S. learning the track and putting pressure on Mike for 2nd place. I imagine he was thinking,"A couple more laps!". A nice battle. Cars were going at it all over the track the last 2 laps, Mike and Dave S., Steve B. had caught up to Steve H., And Jim was working SW Bill over! Nobody was able to get by, though, and the finishing order is Jeff 1st, Mike 2nd, Dave S. 3rd, Steve H. 4th, Steve B. 5th, Dave C. 6th, Bill 7th, Jim 8th, Roger 9th, Norman DNF, Ron DNS. pic: Bob congatulating Jeff on his win.
